It is a really great photograph, and you're right, it does look like a painting. One thing that I would say would make the photograph better is if you had focused on either the boat or the island in the middle. I think this would help because you would then only have one main focal point instead of having two minor focal points, but the way that you blurred out the background made it a very stunning photograph. Another thing that could have worked is, you could have zoomed in more, and focused just on the boats, blurring out the back/main island in this photograph. It is still a generally amazing photograph!
